UBEC uses swith-mode regulator which produces some electromagnetic interference, so some receivers cannot work properly with UBEC. In order to solve this problem, Hobbywing Technology Company improved the hardware design, and now a new UBEC is marketed.
The new UBEC decreases the electromagnetic interference by the following ways:
1. A shield covers almost all the electronic components on PCB
2. A ferrite ring is attached with the output wires
