With Hobbywing's "WiFi Express" module and iPhone or an Android phone (with the HOBBYWING
WiFi Link software installed), the user can remotely program parameters, upgrade firmware and
check relevant data of the ESC without leaving the control stand.
The XR8 SCT provides an exceptionally smooth off-throttle coasting function, which simulates the feeling
of inertia and momentum of a large-scale car driving experience. This can greatly improve the
performance of builds utilizing large, high-powered motors as electromagnetic drag
becomes a substantial factor in sudden deceleration when in the off-throttle
position, adversely affecting driving performance and overall maneuvering.
Capacitor Thermal Protection
Capacitor thermal protection implemented by the XR8 SCT will effectively prevent capacitors
from exploding and causing irreversible damage to the ESC due to overload.

High voltage built-in BEC with an output current of up to 15 Amp and a
switchable output voltage of 6V-7.4V allows users to

Ultra-Reliable Cooling System
HOBBYWING's patented cooling technology utilizes proprietary heat-conductive copper
bars to rapidly and effectively transfer all internal heat from the MOSFET board to the
integrated CNC machined billet aluminum heatsink housing. The cooling fan adopts a
shockproof mounting which effectively reduces the possibility
of fan damage due to vehicle’s frequent jumps.
This XR8 SCT ESC is not only applicable to 1/8th buggies and short-course
trucks but also 1/10th short-course trucks, trucks and monster trucks.

Because the ESC didn't detect any correct throttle signals then, so please check the following items:
1)If the throttle control cable has been plugged in the improper channel on the receiver.
2)If the throttle control cable has been reversely plugged in the TH channel on the receiver.
3)The neutral position has been set improperly, please reset the throttle range.
1)Check if the wire connections between the ESC and motor are A-a, B-b, and C-c.
2)Check if there is any poor connection/soldering between the ESC and motor.
3)The ESC/motor is damaged. Run some tests with a good ESC/motor to confirm the issue and then contact the dealer for after-sales service.
1)You incorrectly set the throttle direction on the transmitter, so please adjust the TH direction from "NOR" to "REV" or from "REV" to "NOR".
2)The motor direction has been reversely set; please change the setting in the 6th programmable item.
The Red LED flashes a single flash that repeats indicating the low-voltage cutoff protection is activated; please change the battery pack.
The Green LED flashes a single flash that repeats indicating the ESC thermal protection is activated; you need to cool the ESC down before using it again.
The Green LED flashes a double flash that repeats indicating the motor thermal protection is activated, you need to cool the motor down before using it again.
The Green LED flashes a triple flash that repeats indicating the over-current protection is activated; you need to release the throttle trigger to the neutral position and start again. If the over-current protection gets activated often, it means the ESC is a little overloaded and you need to reduce the load or change another ESC with higher amperage rating.
The Green LED flashes a quadruple flash that repeats indicating the ESC is damaged, please contact the factory for repair.
The Green & Red LEDs flash simultaneously indicating the ESC has automatically switched to the Sensorless mode; please check if the sensor cable or motor has any problem.
1)Improper connection. The programming port of this ESC is the Fan port; you cannot connect your ESC to the LCD program box or WiFi module via the throttle control cable.
2)The firmware of the program box is not compatible with this ESC, please update the firmware.
3)The ESC is not compatible with this program box; it's only compatible with the multifunction LCD program box and the WiFi module.
1)You might have paired the ESC with another motor instead of HOBBYWING XERUN-4274/6268SD G2); the ESC has automatically identified and switch to the "Sensored/Sensorless Hybrid" mode.
2)The "Sensored/Sensorless Hybrid” mode is the default setting. Please set the "Sensor Mode” to "Full Sensored" and choose a suitable Turbo timing.
