DataLink V3.0 Software Privacy Agreement

I. General and Legal Basis
1.1 Background
Thank you for using the DataLink V3.0 Software (hereinafter referred to as “the Software”)! The Software is provided by Shenzhen Hobbywing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “we” or “us”) and is designed for use with the DataLinkBox G3.0 hardware. This Privacy Agreement aims to inform you of how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services, as well as how you may exercise your related rights. The information we collect includes device ID, usage logs, etc., which are used for service optimization and fault diagnosis. By commencing use of our products or services, you acknowledge that you have fully understood and agreed to this Privacy Agreement.
1.2 Basis
To ensure compliance, this Privacy Agreement is formulated based on the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China (including the principle of minimum necessity), and the Information Security Technology—Privacy Agreement Specification for Network Products and Services (GB/T 35273-2023).
II. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to xx Co., Ltd. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this Privacy Policy.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

To identify your device ID, prevent malicious programs, counter cheating, enhance service security, and ensure operational quality and efficiency, we will collect your device information (including IMEI, MEID, Android ID, IMSI, GUID, MAC address, etc.), the apps you have installed or the processes running on your device.
Third-party services may also collect device information based on their usage requirements.
2.1 Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
2.2 Permission Description
2.2.1 Bluetooth Permission
This permission is used to discover, connect to, and manage Bluetooth devices and is essential for enabling the core functionality of this software.
2.2.2 Location Permission
This permission is required to discover and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices. On certain versions of the Android operating system, Bluetooth discovery functionality depends on location permissions. Please note that this software does not collect or track your geographic location information through this permission.
2.2.3 Device Sensors and Related Capabilities
To enable Bluetooth device discovery, connection, communication, and to ensure functional stability, this software may, upon obtaining your authorization, access certain device capabilities through system interfaces or third-party SDKs (e.g., Bluetooth communication components).
Depending on the specific device and operating system environment, this process may involve accessing sensor data (such as accelerometer readings) to assist in determining device operational status or enhancing Bluetooth connection stability.
Any such data is processed solely during active use of Bluetooth functionality, is not used for any purposes unrelated to Bluetooth features, and will not be utilized for user profiling, behavioral analysis, or personalized recommendations.
2.3 Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory.
This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
III. User Rights and Exercise Methods
3.1 User rights
You are entitled to the following rights:
- a.Right to access data: You may access data via Bluetooth devices or the USB debugging interface;
- b.Right to delete: You may delete the data read and stored by your device.
Right to access data: You may use tools through the USB debugging interface of your device to export log files in the corresponding format.
3.2 Special provisions for minors
We place great importance on the protection of personal information for minors. We do not require age identification when providing products or services to users. However, our products and services are designed for adults with full civil capacity. Users under 18 years old are strictly prohibited from operating the Device independently. We require that you have your parents or other guardians carefully read this Privacy Agreement and use our services or provide information to us only with the consent and under the supervision of your parents or other guardians. If you collect or submit the personal information of a minor through our products or services for purposes such as interacting with the minor, make sure you have obtained prior authorization and consent from the minor’s legal guardian.
IV. Changes and Revisions to the Privacy Agreement
We may change this Agreement. In the event of major changes (such as alternations in the purposes of processing or the manner in which rights may be exercised), we will provide prominent notices (e.g., via in-app pop-ups or upgrade notifications). Your rights will not be restricted without your explicit consent.
The major changes referred to in this Privacy Agreement include, but are not limited to:
- a.Major changes in our service model, such as changes to the purpose for which personal information is processed, the types of personal information processed, or the ways in which personal information is used;
- b.Major changes in our right of control, such as a change in ownership resulting from M&A or reorganizations, etc.;
- c.Changes in the primary recipients of shared, transferred, or disclosed personal information;
- dMajor change in your rights of processing your personal information and how you may exercise these rights;
- e. Changes in the department responsible for the security of personal information, contact information, and complaint channels;
- f.A personal information security impact assessment report indicating high risks.
