INTRODUCTION

Shenzhen Hobbywing Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2005. It is the earliest company in China to focus on the R&D, production and sales of High-Power Density Brushless Power Systems. Its products are widely used in Industrial & Agricultural Drones, High-End Remote Control Models, and Electric Personal Travel Equipment (two-wheel scooters, four-wheel skateboards and electric motorcycles).

HOBBYWING has got some honorary titles such as “National Key Little Giant Enterprise”, National High-Tech Enterprise, Guangdong Province Intelligent UAV Propulsion System Engineering Technology Research Center, Guangdong Province Manufacturing Single Champion and so on. In addition, HOBBYWING was honorand the first prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, and the title of Guangdong Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise.

HOBBYWING has strong technical strength and has applied for 105 domestic and foreign invention patents, 59 of which have been authorized; 163 utility model patents have been applied for, 130 of which have been authorized. After 20 years of development, HOBBYWING has grown into a global leadership in the field of drone propulsion systems and the world's largest company in the field of professional remote control model brushless power systems. Development History

2005

Shenzhen Hobbywing Technology Co., Ltd. was established in July 2005. Later in October, the first aircraft (air model) was launched and public test of the product was held for free. It attracted great interest from end-users. The result or public testing was a big success. The brand started to gain traction.

2006

HOBBYWING took part in Shanghai international model exhibition for the first time. It received strong interest and attracted attentions from model aircraft manufacturers and overseas dealers.

2007

HOBBYWING expanded the production scale and factory area to 1000 square meters. ERP system was introduced to improve management level of enterprises. Upgraded from small-scale taxpayers to general taxpayers.

2008

The launch of "XeRun, EzRun, Platinum, SeaKing" and other series of competitive brushless ESCs has immediately been recognized and loved by domestic customers, breaking the long-term monopoly of foreign brands.

2009

The launch of the second generation "XERUN V2" brushless ESCs quickly gained a significant share in the domestic and international markets with an outstanding performance and stability.
For the first time, Hobbywing participated in the largest electric competition in the world, the Thailand International Touring Car (TITC).

2010

Hobbywing launched an improved version of their following brushless electronic speed controllers ; XERUN V2.1、EZRUN V2、PIATINUM V2. The second generation of ESCs made its debut at the Chicago International Model exhibition.

2011

HOBBYWING became one or the main sponsors of TITC 2011 (the largest scale of international electric competition). HOBBYWING factory racing driver won the championship for the first time in the Open Stock category. The remote-control model industries were impressed at HOBBYWING'S strong technical strength. Later on, Hobbywing participated in Shizuoka International Model exhibition held in Japan.

2012

Launched the third generation of "XERUN V3" series of racing car brushless sensored ESC.

2013

World Champion, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya, along with other overseas top drivers(Juno Levanen from Finland and Marc Fischer from Germany) joined HOBBYWING and became HOBBYWING sponsored drivers. Hobbywing Technology hosted the first ever Hobbywing Asia Cup, making it the most professional and international electric competition in China.

2014

Acquired the signing of multiple world champion, Atsushi Hara from Japan and North American champion, Paul Lemiex to further strengthened and develop the line of products.
For the UAV, Hobbywing launched the XROTOR series for multi-rotor aircraft. It later gained great success. The products are widely used in aerial photography, plant protection. monitoring logistics and other industries.

2015

For the first time, HOBBYWING participated in Nuremberg international toy fair in Germany. The EZRUN MAX series was released. The products stay further ahead of our competitors.
Bruno Coelho, Jan Ratheisky and other international top drivers joined HOBBYWING and became one of the most competitive teams in the world.

2016

HOBBYWING released the fourth generation of brushless electronic speed controller(PLATINUM V4) for the helicopters and was the top choice for majority of the pilots in the world.
Moving forward, HOBBYWING released the world's most advanced brushless electronic speed controller used for competition vehicle (XERUN XR10 PRO series) and established a dominant position in the RC Car market.

2017

It was a great success the time Hobbywing has released the FOC (vector control) type large unmanned aerial vehicle power system and four-wheel electric skateboard power system. The FPV Race Drone has been highly recognized by the market and occupies a major share in the global market. The total number of shipments of the brushless power system has reached is at the top of the list in the industry.

2018

Released the world's first FOC (vector controlled) power system for crawler vehicles. The use or an unconventional, yet innovative technology has showed the world the ability Hobbywing technology possesses. The company is widely recognized and has won high recognition and praise from the market. Hobbywing technology is a World Champion company and has won in the following categories at the IFMAR World Championship event(1:10 electric touring car, 1:12 electric Pancar, and F1).

2019

Passed the 1S0 upgrade review and obtained the 1S09001:2015 version certificate. Introduced PLM project management system. Signed an industry-university-research cooperation agreement with Wuhan University, and established the Wuhan University Graduate Practice Base, the Brushless Power System Industry-University-Research Cooperation Base and the Scientific and Technological Achievements Transformation Base of the Guangdong Research Institute of Wuhan University.

2020

In order to expand the company's production capacity, Huizhou Hobbywing Motor Co., Ltd. was established. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen Hobbywing Technology Co., Ltd.
The company produces precision brushless motors and supports motor controllers for a wide range of unmanned aerial vehicles, high-end remote-control models and personal mobility travel products.

2021

Acquired the signing of Davide Ongaro (the current IFMAR 1/8 off-road world champion), and European champion, Michal Orlowski. Hobbywing has also launched its first high-end power system for the drift category and Airplane model Platinum V5 series products, The team is constantly developing and new products are expanding rapidly.
The development of "H" series of high-tech industry power system is to establish a brand and expand the market. It is applicable in logistics security, fire protection, surveying and mapping and other professional fields into the field of personal mobility travel device, to establish a brand, expand the market.

2022

Introduced the more advanced ERP system to support the operations of group enterprise with multi branches, and strengthened the protection of intellectual properties.
Got the certificate of "National Specialized and New Enterprise ('Little Giant')".
Bruno Coelho, the Hobbywing team driver, won the world championship again in 1/10th scale onroad touring car class.

2023

Strengthened "Advanced Manufacturing & Intelligentization" by introducing the intelligent WMS (Warehouse Management System), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and the more advanced PLM (Product Lifecycle Management system). Completed the transformation of enterprises into share-holding companies. Cooperated with more universities and enterprises.
"The advanced UAV thrust system and its key control technology" was registered by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, and won the first prize of Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress.
