The 2026 EFRA 1/10 Electric Touring Car European Championship took place in Luxembourg from August 7–9, bringing together some of the fastest touring car drivers for an intense weekend of competition. HOBBYWING drivers delivered an impressive performance across the Modified, Spec, and FWD classes, securing three class victories and multiple podium finishes. With strong performances from qualifying through the finals, HOBBYWING power systems once again showed their competitiveness on the European touring car stage.

The battle for the Modified class title remained incredibly close throughout the final. As the race entered its closing stages, several drivers were still within contention for the win. HOBBYWING drivers Bruno Coelho and Simon Lauter maintained a close battle for much of the race. On the final lap, Simon stayed right behind Bruno, keeping the pressure on all the way to the finish. In a dramatic finish, Bruno Coelho crossed the line just 0.003 seconds ahead of Simon, securing the Modified class victory. Simon Lauter finished second.

The Spec class delivered another strong result for HOBBYWING. Max Machler established himself as a frontrunner from the qualifying sessions, securing TQ with a consistent and competitive performance. He carried that momentum into the finals, maintaining control throughout the race to take the Spec class victory and return to the top step of the podium. HOBBYWING's Olivier Bultynck and Louis Kretschmer completed an all-HOBBYWING podium, finishing second and third respectively. The result saw HOBBYWING drivers sweep all three podium positions in the Spec class.

The FWD class also saw a strong performance from HOBBYWING. Stefan Schulz established a strong position from qualifying and maintained his pace throughout the competition. After starting from TQ, Stefan continued to deliver a consistent performance in the final, successfully converting his qualifying advantage into a race victory and securing the FWD TQ & Championship title. HOBBYWING driver Gergo Valent also delivered a strong result, finishing third.
