IPC Motor

HOBBYWING V series VTOL motors support IPC (Intelligent Propeller Control) function. When paired with HOBBYWING IPC ESCs, the propulsion system allows flexible setting of the propeller stop position, helping reduce drag during fixed-wing cruise and extend flight endurance.

Cruise Flight

When the VTOL drone completes vertical takeoff and switches to fixed-wing cruise mode, the rotor motors stop rotating, and the propellers stop at a preset angle through IPC function to keep them consistent with the flight direction. At this time, the rotor propellers are parallel to the airflow direction, effectively reducing the aerodynamic resistance of the rotor propellers to cruise flight, improving the aerodynamic efficiency of the drone, and thus extending the flight time.

Vertical Takeoff & Landing

For puller or pusher motors during takeoff and landing, the IPC function ensures that the propellers stop at a preset angle, preventing them from hitting the ground, effectively protect the propellers and extend the propeller lifespan.
