HOBBYWING has unveiled the SkyWalker HV 130A OPTO V2 and SkyWalker HV 160A OPTO V2 ESCs designed for RC airplane. Built in a powerful 32-bit ARM M4 MCU, each Electronic Speed Controller achieves up to 120 MHz operational frequency and supports as high as 300,000 RPM (for 2-pole motors). This high-efficiency architecture ensures powerful and responsive output, making the Hobbywing ESC the exceptional flexibility for 60-74 "3D RC plane motor.
Both SkyWalker 130A and 160A high-voltage series RC plane speed controllers adopt Drive Efficiency Optimization (DEO), enabling precisely control. With DEO technology, pilots benefit from lower RC plane ESC operating temperatures, longer flight duration, and enhanced overall reliability. For high-demand 3D aerobatics, however, it is recommended to disable DEO.
HOBBYWING’s new RC airplane Electronic Speed Controllers introduce Reverse Brake and Linear Reverse Brake functions. These functions allow RC pilots to simulate real aircraft landing experiences with remarkable realism. In addition, Normal Brake and Brake Disabled options are available, with adjustable brake amount for different preferences. Such flexibility further establishes these Electronic Speed Controllers as versatile solutions for diverse radio-controlled flight styles.
To enhance safety, the SkyWalker HV 130A and 160A OPTO V2 RC airplane ESCs integrate a Search Mode. This feature sends distinctive motor signals to help pilots locate a missing aircraft. It can also alert users to disconnect the battery from an idle plane, preventing unnecessary power drain or potential battery damage.
RC airplane pilots can program our SkyWalker V2 high-voltage RC plane speed controllers using either a Hobbywing LED Program Box or their transmitter based on their needs.
The new HOBBYWING RC plane ESCs include a full suite of protective features, such as input voltage monitoring, over-temperature safeguard, lost throttle signal protection, and low-voltage cutoff. These safeguards effectively extend the service life of the SkyWalker V2 high-voltage series electronic speed controllers.
