HOBBYWING officially announces the release of the X9 G2L integrated drone propulsion system, featuring significant upgrades across multiple aspects, including functionality, efficiency, and intelligence. With a single-axis rated thrust of 7-12 kg and a maximum thrust of 24 kg, the X9 G2L is versatile, suitable for 16L agricultural drones and IV-class drones. This new propulsion system provides a more efficient and reliable power solution for agricultural and industrial UAV operations.
Paired with HOBBYWING MFP 36x11 drone propellers, the X9 G2L propulsion system delivers longer flight time. Compared to the previous X9 UAV propulsion system, X9 G2L offers a 1kg increase in recommended takeoff weight and a 4% efficiency improvement within the same thrust range. While it aligns in performance with the X9 Plus, X9 G2L propulsion system for multirotor drones is 230g lighter.

Hobbywing X9 G2L UAV propulsion system can replace the previous X9 and X9 Plus without complex modifications, providing users with improved propulsion performance while maintaining compatibility with existing drone frames.
X9 G2L drone propulsion system introduces several user-friendly and flexible parameter adjustment options:
Easily adjust navigation light colors and motor rotation directions via the remote controller, without the need of a DataLinkBox.
Using the DataLinkBox G3 paired with the HOBBYWING DataLink V3 app (compatible with Android and iOS), quickly configure 90% of ESC parameters outdoors via Bluetooth.
Using HOBBYWING PC-side DataLink host software in conjunction with the DataLinkBox, all open parameter settings will be available (including Advanced Parameters Settings) on the ESC.

Flatland Mode: offering stable motor rotation speed output and precise speed control within the operating voltage rang, ideal for flat areas.
Highland Mode: automatically adjusting motor rotation speeds within a certain range as altitude increases to adapt to high-altitude operations (Customizable on request).

To improve flight safety and system reliability, the X9 G2L, which integrates the drone motor, ESC, and propeller, introduces PWM + CAN dual throttle control, enhancing real-time system response and anti-interference performance, ensuring precise throttle control for safer multirotor drone flights.
HOBBYWING X9 G2L all-in-one propulsion system supports DroneCAN and HWCAN protocols (default: HWCAN). It also enables intercommunication with multiple mainstream flight controller systems, such as ArduPilot open source ecosystem, VK, BOYING, JIYI, and ACFLY.

Fault Storage: Precisely records fault data within milliseconds for easier fault analysis and X9 G2L’s ESC maintenance information logging.
Black Box: Records the ESC of X9 G2L propulsion system operating data in real time to trace the flight process. The default recording duration is 1 hours, up to 24 hours.

HOBBYWING X9 G2L UAV drone propulsion system features the brand-new rectangular vent design with a larger diameter, greatly improving heat dissipation efficiency while preventing impurities from entering the drone motor. The X9 G2L drone motor is coated with high-temperature resistant enamel wire, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 200°C.
With an ingress protection rating of IPX6, X9 G2L UAV propulsion system can withstand harsh environmental conditions such as rain, pesticides, salt mist, high temperatures, and dust, making it ideal for agriculture applications.

HOBBYWING X9 G2L integrated propulsion system incorporates multiple protective mechanisms to ensure flight safety throughout the entire operation:
Self-Check Protection: overvoltage warning, undervoltage warning, fail to reset throttle to zero, short-circuit fault, and disconnection fault;
Operational Protection: overcurrent fault, motor stall fault, throttle loss warning, MOS over-temperature warning, and capacitor over-teamperature warning.
