HOBBYWING officially launches the new-generation X9 Plus G2L drone propulsion system, designed to deliver a more efficient and intelligent drone flight experience. Developed for professional UAV applications, the X9 Plus G2L propulsion system achieves comprehensive upgrades in performance efficiency, parameter tuning convenience, and intelligent flight control, providing agricultural and industrial multirotor drones with a more reliable and efficient propulsion solution.

X9 Plus G2L UAV propulsion system delivers a single-axis rated thrust of 12–14 kg, with a maximum thrust of up to 28 kg, making it perfect for 20L agricultural drones and Class IV UAVs. Compared with the previous X9 Plus, X9 Plus G2L drone power system is paired with larger MFP 43×14 propellers, increasing the recommended takeoff weight by 1 kg while improving efficiency by approximately 12% within the same thrust range.
To meet the requirements of heavy-load and long-duration drone operations, HOBBYWING X9 Plus G2L drone motor adopts a rectangular vent design. This structure effectively prevents debris ingress from entering the motor while significantly improving heat dissipation.

In addition, X9 Plus G2L UAV power system features an IPX6 protection rating and supports clean-water rinsing. It is engineered to withstand rain, pesticides, salt spray, high temperatures, and dust—common challenges in drone agriculture environments.

X9 Plus G2L UAV integrated propulsion system supports multiple parameter tuning methods to accommodate different drone applications. A newly added remote controller tuning function allows users to quickly change navigation light colors and motor rotation direction, without the need for a DataLinkBox. Bluetooth tuning via the DataLinkBox G3 and DataLink V3 App enables users to configure 90% of ESC parameters outdoors.

In further, drone operators can use the PC-side DataLink host software with the DataLinkBox, adjusting all open parameters settings of the ESC (including advanced parameters).

X9 Plus G2L integrated propulsion system features two operating modes to adapt to different drone operating environments, including flatland and high-altitude conditions.
Flatland Mode: offering stable drone motor rotation speed output and precise speed control within the operating voltage range.
Highland mode: automatically adjusting motor rotation speeds within a certain range as altitude increases to adapt to high-altitude operations (Customizable on request).

The new-generation X9 Plus G2L drone propulsion system features a fully optimized black box data storage architecture.
Fault Storage: Precisely records fault data within milliseconds for easier fault analysis and ESC maintenance information logging.
Log Black Box: Records ESC operating data in real time to trace flight process. The default recording duration is 1 - 24 hours.

HOBBYWING X9 Plus G2L drone propulsion system introduces PWM + CAN dual throttle control, enhancing real-time response and anti-interference capability. This design ensures precise throttle control and improves overall drone flight reliability.

Supporting both DroneCAN and HWCAN protocols (HWCAN by default), X9 Plus G2L all-in-one propulsion system is compatible with mainstream flight controllers including Ardupilot, VK, BOYING, JIYI, and ACFLY, enabling seamless integration into intelligent drone flight ecosystems via CAN communication.

The new X9 Plus G2L UAV power system integrates multiple self-check and runtime protection mechanisms to ensure multirotor UAV flight safety.
Self-Check Protection: overvoltage warning, undervoltage warning, fail to reset throttle to zero, short-circuit fault, and disconnection fault;
Running Protection: overcurrent fault, motor stall fault, throttle loss warning, MOS over-temperature warning, and capacitor over-teamperature warning.
